On 13 August 2026 Ying Group handed over a new power & free powder coating line to ACROW Misr, a manufacturer of formwork and scaffolding systems for the construction industry, at its plant in Wady Houf, Helwan, Cairo. Production on the line started the same day.
Loading from the floor, not from a ladder
On a conventional overhead power & free conveyor, the load bars stay up at conveyor height. Operators reach up, or climb, to hang heavy parts and to take them off again. At ACROW Misr that would mean lifting steel scaffolding frames overhead all shift.
The line's loading station works the other way round. A hydraulic elevator robot takes the load bar off the overhead conveyor and lowers it all the way to the floor:
- LowerThe elevator robot brings the empty load bar down from the conveyor to ground level.
- LoadOperators hang the parts standing on the floor — no platforms, no reaching overhead.
- RaiseThe robot lifts the full bar back into the overhead conveyor, which carries it on through pretreatment, powder application and curing.
Coated parts come back down the same way at the unloading end.
Why it matters for formwork and scaffolding
ACROW Misr's products are large, heavy and awkward to handle. Floor-level loading removes the need to work at height, shortens loading and unloading, and keeps load bars moving into the line — which raises the throughput of the whole system, not just the loading bay.
It is also a good example of why a power & free conveyor suits this kind of plant: each carrier can stop for loading while the rest of the line keeps running.
“This project reflects what we aim to deliver for every customer — a coating line that is not only efficient, but genuinely safer for the people running it. We’re proud to hand this system over to ACROW Misr and to support their continued growth.”
